California Marriage License: There is no blood test required. We can provide a California Marriage License in most packages. However, if you would like to purchase your own Marriage License you will need to get your Marriage License first, either at your local California County Clerks Office, or at the El Dorado County Clerks Office here in South Lake Tahoe. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You will need to be there by 4:30 pm. Both the bride and the groom will need to be present and require photo ID. If the location you choose is in Nevada, you will need a Douglas County, Nevada Marriage License. No blood test is required, and no waiting period. The fee is $55 and does not include a certified copy of the marriage certificate, which is an additional $10. Both the bride and groom need to be present and require photo ID. Their hours are Monday through Thursday 9 am - 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 9 am to 9 pm, and Sunday and holidays 9 am to 5 pm.

Prices may change without notice. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the wedding package is required at the time of booking to reserve most packages. The balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. If the wedding date is under 30 days, 100% of the wedding package price is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. You may pay your deposit and final payment to A Beautiful Lake Tahoe Wedding, P.O. Box 612523, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96152. They accept Visa and MasterCard. We also accept traveler's checks; cashiers checks or money orders that can be mailed to us via US Mail.

Changes and cancellations: All cancellations must be in writing and there will be no refunds within 30 days of the wedding date. If you need to reschedule your wedding date for any reason, there will be a $50 rescheduling fee and at least 30 day notice is required. If there is a cancellation or change within 30 days, 50% of your total may be applied to a future date within the next 12 months. Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make the changes. Some services may be difficult to reschedule. We are not responsible for the weather or wedding party delays. In case of inclement weather, a $125.00 fee may be charged to book an indoor wedding location. There may be a limit to the number of guests at some locations.

Additional charges may apply for parking, guest gondola tickets, and state park fees. Please no throwing of rice birdseed, confetti or releasing helium balloons as these are prohibited by law due to possible harm to wildlife and birds. Client agrees to hold A Beautiful Lake Tahoe Wedding, its employees or subcontractors harmless from all liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees and expenses relating to services arising out of this agreement.
